Guide to Installing the Nova Build for Kodi

Nova is one of the more popular user interface modifications for the Kodi platform. It replaces the somewhat lazy looking and sometimes confusing to navigate menus with a much more intuitive layout. It’s easier on the eyes due to the home theater aesthetic it has, and is easier on the brain as it makes menu navigation more simple.

It is just over 200mb in size and shouldn’t be much of a download for most computer storage devices.

It is a great layout for computer desktop monitors but will also work even better with TV boxes such as Android or the Amazon Fire Stick models.

It even already has some great streaming apps pre-installed, which is the main reason it is 200mb in size.

The download is titled “Little Guys Simple Build Wizard” and can be found at http://thelittleguysco.net/kodi/

Here’s how you download it step by step:

Step 1: Open up Kodi. Click on the main System Settings icon that looks like a gear.

Step 2: Click on File Manager. It should be the last box out of a list of 11 options on the new page.

Step 3: On the left hand side click on Add Source.

Step 4: Click on the location where it says

Step 5: Now enter in this url: http://thelittleguysco.net/kodi/. This is the same URL mentioned before. Go ahead and copy and paste it if you’re on a computer to make it easier.

Step 6: In the box below the URL box that says “Enter a name for this media source” type in “little guys” and then press OK.

Step 7: Return to the Kodi homepage and click on Add-Ons.

Step 8: Select the Add-on Installer button in the corner of your screen. The icon looks like an opened up cardboard box.

Step 9: Click on the ‘Install from zip file’ button.

Step 10: A long menu should appear in alphabetical order. Scroll down until you see “little guys” and then click on it.

Step 11: From the next menu click on plugin.program.SimpleBuildWizard-0.0.2.zip.

Step 12: Look for the installation complete notification to appear on your right hand side.

Step 13: You can now return once again to the home page and click on Add-Ons again.

Step 15: Click on the Simple Build Wizard.

Step 17: Click on [17.3] NOVA {v1.4).

Step 18: Now click on Fresh install. Standard install works too but Fresh install generally has a lower chance of causing problems since this is your first time.
