Facebook comes installed right out of the box with the Galaxy S8 phone. For many reasons, it can be bothersome to have the app with you at all times. Maybe you don’t enjoy being annoyed by notifications 24/7 and need a break or perhaps you don’t even use social media in the first place. Technically the app cannot be completely removed from your phone but it can be permanently turned off. This does not free up any space on your internal memory but the app is relatively small so this is not a big deal.

All you need to do is navigate to the Apps menu and then scroll down the list in alphabetical order until you find the Facebook App. Next you have to tap and hold your finger down on the icon until a sub menu pops up. Simply tap on the option that reads Disable, and you’re good to go.
